some of you know from my other posts that I am a huge Akira Kurosawa fan. On my recent trip, very late at night, one of his movies came on (yes huge shock!), and it was called "Red Beard" - when watching it I saw Dostoevsky ideas left and right, and most from a little book called "The Insulted and the Injured" - we actually have a copy of it on the website. Some of the scenes were taken directly out of the book.

Anywho, the movie is excellent, it was Kurosawa's last black and white film - it is really worth watching.
