What is it about Colorado that makes people gravitate toward FD I wonder? I'm also amazed at how good the English is of our non-US residents! Smiley Thank God we don't have to do this site in Russian or Dutch.

Myself, I was born in Los Angeles and lived in Newfoundland for a few years before settling for the past many years here in the San Francisco Bay Area. For me, this area can't be beat. 1/2 hour to the beach, 3 hours to the snow, San Francisco an hour to the north and we just came off a 70-degree (farenheit of course) week in February!

I'm living in Ottawa at the moment...it's great to know that I'm not the only Dostoevsky disciple in the province.

i was born in bulgaria but have lived in texas, chicago and vegas.at the moment i live in the uk.i love it here!i can watch my football!united!

my mum studied russian philology and later taught it.i love russia and the russian people.although my spoken russian is horrific,i do understand when spoken to and i can read but mostly contemporary stuff.ive tried reading FD in russian but it is quite difficult.i can read tyutchev though and i enjoy it!

there are a lot of americans here.very interesting!dont wanna be rude but during my five years there i didnt meet a single person who knew the name FD,let alone having read his works...but its good to know that there are people who appreciate him!
