...meaningless ejaculations...

I wouldn't go so far as to say they were meaningless. Occasionally difficult to understand, yes, but not meaningless. I believe the intent is to keep posts comprehensible, and sometimes the best way to do this is to put a certain amount of space between each statement, and to keep those statements short.

Though I must say that I felt this comment:

And mental wards? No no that's far too kind a penalty for Belief. I think death chambers and charnel houses would do nicely. Line 'em up and shoot 'em down. That's what I say.

Was uncalled for.

I'll shut up now.

Yeah that's the quote from Childe Harold that made me post the rules on the other link. It has also something to do with Mogwai's recent comments to Harold on the Nieztsche link as well, I assume. It's nice to know what his intentions are. Although he will not be the first athiest who believes us mentally ill believers need to be sent to the gulag or take a bullet to the head. Cheesy

Come on. Obviously it was sarcastic. Underworld's calling me a Stalinist was uncalled for. I was merely fighting mockery with mockery. And that's really as far as I need to defend myself.

Did any of you really expect me to say, 'No, I don't think believers should be put in mental wards.' That would have been to bring underworld's accusation to a level of respectability--and seriousness.

I'm not mixing in who's right or not in this topic, I'm just saying to let it go and rest, it's going nowhere.
I suggest you finish this matter perhaps through email or with private messages with each other.

And yes, ofcourse I was talking about every topic, .. duh..

Once again I can only hold you accountable for you.

I completely expected you to say- No I do not agree that believers should be shot in the head let alone belong in gulags. There is nothing funny in your comments. So I find it hard to see how people could see you as kidding or just joking.

I would like to continue the discussion with slicingbike without more masturbatory comments from Childe Harold though.

I suppose my remarks about gulags were only as funny your calling me a Stalinist. If you and anyone else is blind to farce, it really isn't my problem. I will not deign underworld's kinds of imputations against me with serious answers.

Here, here how 20th -the most bloodiest mass murdering- century of you. I'll skip the Stalin and St Tikhon comparisons.
Funny the comparison was made after your Line 'em up and shoot 'em down comment and one does not justify the other. Keep making excuses while not taking responsibilty.
