nevermind...

i just only want to know - why?
swastika's the ancient simbol akin to yin-yan, for example, nothing more.
so, if human kind struggled for 'enlightenment' for so long only to have it sacrificed in favour of politcorrectness?

ok, provocative i was - indeed, having chosen such a notorious symbol.
but after all, even notoriety should be granted protection from ignorance, hypocrisy and bigotry in favour of so-called 'enlightenment' so-called civilized world's so proud of.

"swastika" was just a test...
this forum didn't pass it...
strange that.

Get over it, tzar.  You've been pushing it lately and I expect you to tone down the negativity.  This board isn't a democracy but we, the admins, will govern these boards with the other users in mind.  Your swastika was offensive to numerous users on this board whether you thought it was offensive or not.

whether swastika is offensive is not the matter of anyone's opinion, because the use of such a logic may bring one to conclusion that the egyptian pyramids, for example, are offensive as well.

I found your 'swastika' profile text offensive in relation to the content of your posts (ie your not too subtle attacks on Russian Jews)...... but then again, I will always find the thoughts of a narrow minded patriot offensive.

I wouldn't say I was offeneded, or would be offended, at seeing a swastika beside your profile. Let me just say I would find it extremely distasteful. And what's this nonsense about the pyramids? The swastika was the embelm of the party that slaughtered six million Jews. Its offense then has nothing to do with logic, but association. The Egyptians may well have done some bad things in their time--especially in building the pyramids--but that was thousands of years ago, and the memory of it has dimmed to the point of negligibility. The same process of desensitization will probably, in time, work on the swastika, although never of course for the Nazi Party. Until that happens, you will just have to content yourself with other mythical symbols. There is of course no shortage here--only with your originality tzar.

Tzar,I really don't understand why you have to get in fights with everyone.It is OBVIOUS that people get offended by your swastika sign and its rather strange that you don't understand it.if you want to show your individuality,then insulting other peole is not the way.Plus insulting great Russian writers like Solzhenitsyn and supporting Stalin's repressions won't make you any popular anywhere.

Oh come on lerik. He never insulted anybody. He never insulted a Russian writer. (His comment about Sol. was a criticism.) And he never (expressly) supported Stalin's repressions.

I've had some pro-Stalin imputations thrown at me, and they were just about as bogus as yours. I certainly don't feel sorry for tzar losing his swastika, but let's let him have his arguments without moralizing shall we? As for his not trying to endear himself to people on this site, I think that's a commendable attitude. Why should he want friends here?
