Ah yes, the Stanley Cup Playoffs begin tomorrow!  In my opinion, it's the best tournament in the world.  I can't wait to see all the games.  Anyone else here a hockey fan?

I'm a big Avalanche fan and we Denverites have been spoiled with incredible Avalanche teams over the last decade.  Although this year, they're not looking so hot going into the playoffs.

I see Calgary doing some damage in the West and they are my sleeper pick to win the Western Conference.   I like Ottawa in the East.  An all-Canadian final?  That would be pretty cool...

They were saying that this year's playoffs have the best 1st Round matchups in a loooong time.  Nashville sure put up a good game last night against the Wings.  And my Avs blew away the Stars which was nice.  Smiley

Forgive my ignorance, but what's the Stanley Cup? I don't get out much, I guess.  Undecided

Oh, thanks. I like watching "real hockey" but not on TV, and I certainly don't keep up with it.

I shouldn't say this- being from Toronto- but Colorado and Ottawa look good right now.

The Toronto/Ottawa series has been a great matchup.  It's a toss-up as to who wins that one.  My Avs are indeed looking swell!  We'll see how they do against Dallas tonight in Dallas...
