Many of Dostoyevsky's works concern the self-splitting motif which began with The Double in 1846.By adopting French School’s Influence Research ,this paper aims to explore other writers’ influence on Dostoyevsky both at home and abroad and his influence on latter writers concerning this motif.

The massage above is the abstract of my paper,i am
not  sure about it as English is not my mother tongue. Will anyone who is kind  enough to check it for me?Thanks a lot!

     hello "the double"

for line three I suggest----- .....this paper explores other writers'....------ I think it sounds better (in my humble opinion)
for line 4 the word latter should be spelled --later--, just one t .

     hope that helps!!   Cheesy

The first Dostoevsky's novel i have read is Crime And Punishment which i borrowed  from the library ,I borrowed  Dickens ' Great Expectations at the same time.It took me 2 days  to read Crime And Punishment ,yet about one week to read Great Expectations.Dostoevsky's works are fascinating. Then I   began  to read him.I have already read most of his works. He said that he waned to explore people's inner feelings which interests  me most .Originally,I wanted  to write my master's paper on him.But i do not think i have some good idea.So i decided  to write a paper on splitting self in nineteenth century's  wesern literaure, including Dostoevsky's The Double. How about you? When did you begin to read him?Have  you ever written a paper on him?      Sorry, but I've had house guests and was short on free time.
I've been reading FD off & on since my college days but have never written a paper on him. I just started reading "Brothers K" for the second time & still love his work.  Good luck with your masters paper!!
