Nikolai Nekrasov's Poetry

Hello, I have no experience at all with Russian literature or the Russian language. I'm a philosophy student and one day decided to pick up The Brother's Karamazov by Dostoevsky. I'm pretty much obsessed with the novel even though I'm only halfway through. Anyway I've been searching for a poem Dostoevsky mentions by Nekrasov titled "Before Twilight" from 1859. I've searched through many sites and can't seem to find it, I even went on some Russian sites but I can't read Russian so that didn't help much. If anyone has the poem or knows Russian and can give me a translation of it I'd be very thankful.

Well, I'm not quiet sure, but there is a second chapter of poem "O pogode" - "About weather" called "Pered symerkami" - "Before twilight". If it's what you want - then you should look for "About weather".

I greatly sympathise with your plight. Have you read a Russian poet
called Anna Akhmatova? She's routinely considered the finest female
poet of last century and yet, like Rainer Maria Rilke, she's almost
impossible to find in bookshops, then one has the painful experience of
trusting blindly the translation of a language one doesn't know. I have
4 or 5 translations of some Rilke and Akhmatova poems. Some are
breathtakingly beautiful and then the same poem will seem clumsy and brick-like in another translator's hands. Nekrasov's poetry seems to be
of rather epic length too, so most of the compilations only feature excerpts. Philosophy seems a good base to digest The Brothers K.
Either way I predict this will be (to quote Bogie in Casablanca):
