Has anyone ever noticed the parallels between the Movie Fight Club and the Demons/Possessed.

Could Tyler have been the demon that also possessed Petra?

I see parallisms between Fight Club and Dostoevsky's literature in general - mainly "underground man",  "the demons", and to a certain extent "the double" - btw, it is one of my favorite movies, the book is OK as well.

definately underground man in fight club.

If anyone has read brett easton ellis they'd see a lot of dostoevsky in his novels as well.  The whole "fall from grace" scenarios.  amazing.

Yes I find the humour in fight club and commentary very Dostoevsky/Golog-Russian very dry and innocent but also dark.

Hubert Selby Jr. is the closest thing we have to a western Dostoevsky.
