Just thought that I would start one.

I'd like to put forward that maybe a folder should be under the "major works" tab for every major work.  To me, it would be great to have a folder for each book.  It seems that threads regarding his works are spread out all over, as well as that of characters.  This would be a good way to organize the information, as well as to help new people to find other interesting threads while reading a given Dostoyevsky book.

What do you think?

Hi Sublime99, thanks for the suggestion.  While things would be more organized with smaller subboards, message board logic says that participation would be a little more stifled.  I've seen this on message boards before - when subboards start appearing for purposes of categorization, the whole forum community starts to spread a little thin.  It becomes more difficult for users to participate in discussions because they have to visit each subboard to see what has been posted on each one.  If we keep it to where we have at least SOME organization, but not too much, there's a medium we can all feel comfortable with while not spreading the board too thin.

Hopefully, that makes sense.  Let me know...thanks again for the suggestion, though!  Smiley

At the bottom of the main forum page, we used to see the 5 most recent posts..... that feature is no longer present.... I think that if that feature were brought back, people would be more aware of the recent posts, thus reply to the recent post with a higher frequency

Excellent catch!  During the upgrade, this somehow got disabled.  I have re-enabled it now to show the 10 recent posts on the forum...
