So, I'm rereading The Idiot for the 3rd or 4th time, but this time trying something different: listening to it as an audiobook. I finally decided to do some research on the relationship between Nastasya Filippovna and Afanasy Totsky, because while the circumstances seem obvious, it's still somewhat ambiguous to me, and I didn't want to have the wrong impression. This dissertation made the most sense to me, and I found it to be an interesting interpretation of her character and motivation.
